In this section I want to show some interesting projects that have never been produced in that way. Still the options that got chosen are not always the best ones.

A handwritten logotype should always feel like it is done quite fast with a selfconfident elegance. Still not many calligraphers can do that without further alternations and corrections. Some elements need to be cleared but the verve needs to be maintained.
The logotype TVMovie, is a good example for that. It is sad, they still work with the old one. For Interbrand Hamburg



The existing eon brandmark is so ugly that I did this design evolution to find out if there is a way to save it. The second example was my alternative solution. I did show this presentation in a workshop in the Typo Berlin 2004. Still the typographically bad elements of the exiting mark are so much part of the brand that it is better to just keep them.


I always loved those kind of logotypes. Years ago I had an airbrush and tried to make Illustrations like that. Now with Freehand it is quite easy to do them. This one I did for Annett Schaper in Hamburg for a chocolate caramel bisquit bar. Those 3 elements should all be shown in the logotype.

in the second example I even tried to add a photo of a broken bisquit


For a cream cheese Brunch is still quite chunky and not creamy.
So I took away the edgy parts.

Paral is a spray product against insects. Quite strong.
The logotype looks dated and has a very bad outline.
The new one I wanted to be sharper.

Milky Way is a choclate bar for kids.
The existing logotype has got so many curves, it is almost to soft.
My alternative should be soft but strong.

I'm a bit sad that this one was not chosen.
It looks a bit amerikan but it is unusual for Germany.
