There are some historical typefaces I recognize as standards. Like Garamond or the classic Grotesque of the 19th century. Stabil is my interpretation of the London Underground typeface. When you compare the characters directly you would not say they have much in common. But there is this atmosphere that lives on in my new version. Apart from that it has got a modern encoding with Greek and Cyrillic. It has a great variety of weights from Thin to Ultrabold to serve in any task a design problem asks for.
For all the weights there is Roman, Italic and Small Caps.
Greek and Cyrillic.
Tabular and old style figures.
Some funktional and lively ligatures
and arrows in any direction and weight.
