Samsa is not exactly a classic serif. the serifs are squared and that makes it quite sharp edgy. Still it is no neoclassic typeface.

The hairlines are still strong enough to work in tiny sizes. Magazines will be a perfect area for Samsa to work in the text department.

Samsa has got 9 weights. Extrabold and Ultrabold are to dark for text. Only use it for display.

In the standard set the main figures are tabular but with a proportional old style figure set as a feature.

Traditional and stylistic ligatures are also part of the feature set.
